Abstract
IN CROATIAN: U ovom radu opisani su mehanizmi unutar sustava Ranog i predškolskog odgoja i obrazovanja (RPOO) kojima se produžava status privremene zaposlenosti za dio zaposlenika te kako nesigurnost takve zaposlenosti dugoročno utječe na blagostanje i doživljaj kvalitete radnih uvjeta. U sustavu RPOO nesigurnost zaposlenosti snažno je vezana za ugovore na određeno vrijeme. Rezultati istraživanja pokazuju da su indikatori blagostanja i kvalitete radnih uvjeta negativno povezani s oba tipa radnog odnosa, što svjedoči o zahtjevnosti odgojiteljskog posla. Međutim, negativni učinak akumuliranog radnog staža na ugovore određeno bio je snažniji od negativnog učinka akumuliranog radnog staža na neodređeno vrijeme. --------------- IN ENGLISH: This paper describes the mechanisms within the Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) system that prolong the temporary employment status for some employees and how the insecurity of such employment affects well-being and the perception of working conditions in the long term. In the ECEC system, job insecurity is strongly linked to fixed-term contracts. Research findings indicate that indicators of well-being and the quality of working conditions are negatively associated with both types of employment relationships, highlighting the demanding nature of the educator's work. However, the negative impact of accumulated work experience on fixed-term contracts was stronger than that of accumulated work experience on permanent contracts.
