Abstract
IN CROATIAN: U poglavlju Pristup stručnom usavršavanju u sustavu ranog i predškolskog odgoja i obrazovanja analizirani su oblici usavršavanja koja su zaposleni u dječjim vrtićima pohađali, trajanje usavršavanja i prikladnost usavršavanja potrebama odgojno-obrazovnog rada u usporedbi s drugim stručnjacima/kinjama u javnom sektoru u Hrvatskoj. Također, prikazane su prepreke pristupu stručnom usavršavanju s obzirom na karakteristike dječjih vrtića. --------------- IN ENGLISH: The chapter Access to professional development in early childhood education and care analyzes the forms of training attended by employees in kindergartens, the duration of training and the suitability of training for the needs of educational work in comparison with other public sector professionals in Croatia. Also, obstacles to access to professional development with regard to the characteristics of kindergartens are presented.
